Recorded with more than seventy performers in a single studio, these are audiobooks that exemplify what critics describe as a “special synergy not heard since the heyday of old time radio.” They are described as a complete “theatre of the mind” wherein the listeners are awash in atmospheric and three-dimensional sound to all but immerse the listener in a story. All are available in trade paperback, audio drama and e-book.
SCREENPLAYS TO NOVELS
Among L. Ron Hubbard’s final works were two original screenplays (see below), from the early 1980s, designed to be full-length feature films. Hubbard suggested that they be adapted into novels by other writers, thereby providing them the unique opportunity of co-authorship.

SPACE JAZZ MUSIC ALBUM
Battlefield Earth also served as the inspiration for the first-ever musical soundtrack to a book. Entitled Space Jazz, reflecting the mood of a futuristic Earth grown primitive following an alien assault, the album offers thirteen compositions from L. Ron Hubbard based upon significant events and characters from the novel.
MISSION EARTH ALBUM
The Mission Earth album with compositions and lyrics from L. Ron Hubbard was produced with blues-rock musician Edgar Winter. The lyrics are intrinsic to the story itself and many were included within the prose. Mission Earth, the album, was legitimately at the time of release the most potent musical statement for environmental reform. Its environmental anthem, “Cry Out,” was not only adopted by Friends of the United Nations in the name of ecological reform, but became the rallying cry for a worldwide Earth Day celebration. All profits from the song were donated for the print of the Personal Action Guide for the Earth booklet on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme.
